CONSTITUTION OF M.R.C.

Aims and Objectives

1. To respect the Ulama (Muslim Scholars) and persuade Muslims to do so.

2. To help eliminate misunderstanding between Muslims and non-Muslims.

3. To respect every effort being made for the unity and mutual understanding amongst Muslims.

4. To produce an Islamic calendar which has been mutually agreed by Muslims of all schools of thought and attested by Ulama, respected scholars and Muslim organisations.

5. To introduce a mutually agreed calendar into British schools, colleges and universities and obtain recognition.

6. To guide Muslim children and avoid confusion regarding Islamic teaching during the days of Muslim festivals.
