Pakistan Consulate Calls A Meeting Of Muslim Community Leaders From The North West
Invitation letters are being sent on the advise of Abdul Hamid Wariach (Consul of Vice Consulate of Pakistan, Manchester) either by post or by hand to all Mosque Imams, chairman, secretary’s of mosques and other community leaders including counselors and Muslim welfare associations and Muslim organisations in order to attend meetings being held at:
Pakistan House,
137 Dickinson Road,
Manchester.
The first meeting was held on September 1997 at Pakistan Community Centre, Manchester. Since then consecutive meetings have taken place at Pakistan Consulate on the following dates: 11th October 1997, Tuesday 21st October 1997 and an executive committee meeting of the NorthWest Musilim unity was held on Monday 17th November 1997. Further meetings will be held in future and the results will be discussed.
Agenda: To achieve a constructive and mutual understanding and devise a policy of Moon Sighting in the North West.
